Bathroom Renovation in London
Bathrooms, en-suites and shower rooms built properly — waterproofing, services and ventilation done right beneath surfaces finished to an exacting standard.
Completed London bathroom — hero shot
The rooms where corners can’t be cut
A bathroom fails from the inside out. What matters most is what you never see: tanking and waterproofing, falls to drainage, pipework that won’t hammer, extraction that clears steam, and electrics zoned to regulation. We build that layer with the same care as the visible one — because retiling a leaking bathroom twice costs more than building it once, properly.
On the surface: large-format tiling and natural stone set out symmetrically, walk-in showers with linear drainage, underfloor heating, fitted vanities from our joinery workshop, and brassware installed square and true.
Many bathroom projects in period London homes also involve reconfiguration — stealing space from a landing for an en-suite, or moving soil stacks to free a layout. As a design & build team we take those on as part of the job.

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in London?
Scope drives cost: a like-for-like refit, a reconfigured layout with relocated drainage, and a new en-suite carved from existing space are three different projects. Our quotations itemise building work, sanitaryware, tiling and finishing separately so you can see and adjust each line.

Bathroom renovation FAQs
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Typically two to four weeks on site for a full renovation of one bathroom, longer where layouts change or drainage moves. We confirm the programme in the quotation.
Can you add an en-suite where there isn’t one?
Often, yes — from landing space, a large bedroom or a closet wing. The constraints are usually drainage routes and ventilation, which we assess at the site visit.
Do you supply sanitaryware and tiles?
Either way works: we can specify and supply complete schemes, or install items you have chosen. Everything is itemised in the quotation.
Is building regulations approval needed?
New bathrooms and relocated drainage generally require building regulations sign-off, and electrics must be certified. We manage inspections and provide certificates at handover.
